Back in February, I had the pleasure of doing my first birth shoot. Little Mia Katherine had a scheduled arrival time, which made the whole thing run much smoother.
I arrived at Lutheran Hospital just as Mia was being cleaned up in the nursery...
Mia's family watched on through the windows. You could see the pride all over their faces...
After she was all cleaned up, Mia was whisked away to the recovery wing to visit with Mom...
After a little too much waiting (at least in the eyes of a toddler), the entire family was reunited to celebrate and hold Mia for the first time...
Mia had her first experience with an iPad as she met her Aunt for the first time via Skype...
Thanks a million to Lis and Corey for letting me be a part of such a special day! Mia is beautiful, and it's so neat to see how much she's grown already.
